I spend as much of my time near the ocean as I can. Here I am confronted with a never-ending series of abstract possibilities, water and weather and sand. Moments of power and beauty that would disappear forever were they not captured.

When the tide is particularly high, waves explode almost vertically off of the rocks. I am reminded of Jackson Pollock, but this isn't a creation of man. It is nature’s action painting.
